To learn fundamentals of the process while assisting machine operators while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude
Good oral /written communication skills
Computing knowledge
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Any supplemental responsibilities as determined by supervision.
Assist adjoining line if necessary.
Maintain equipment, notifying supervisor or Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention.
Slab rolls, load scrap unwinder, and grind scrap.
Quality testing / data entry.
Overtime as required.
Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives.
Comply with company recycling policy.
Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
Manufacturing Environment
Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
Loud noise
