Title Winder Operator C
Position Objective Follow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meet criteria.
Qualifications
Packer experience preferred
High school diploma/GED
Operator experience
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Job Responsibilities
Ability to verify if product is of quality to pack.
Assist extrusion operator
Start up.
Adjust core alignment
Blade adjustments
Popping trim
Wrap up removal pressure roll
Pack finish goods to correct procedure
Wrap up removal idle rollers
Packing material over 5’
Hand tools
Machine knowledge
Boxing, accounting and weighing of scrap
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside regular schedule as required.
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
Work Environment and Conditions Subjected to in this position
Manufacturing Environment
Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and repetitive action of lifting and bending
Able to stand up for up to 12 hrs. and work 12 hrs. rotating schedule
Must wear steel toe shoes and appropriate PPE on production floor all times
No shorts, jewelry and loose hanging clothes allowed.
