Logistics Administrative Support Duration: 4+ months • Location: Tempe, AZ 85284 • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs per week • Overtime: 2 hrs of OT

Team operating days: In‑person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; remote on Wednesday (subject to change to RTO5 at any time).

Potential for extension or conversion to full‑time: Yes.

Story Behind the Need You will be joining the Global Mile team within the Cross Border Execution (XBE) division, which supports all imports of goods and freight coming in from outside the US. You will manage various processes, including processing repair claims, escalating containers on customs holds, and communicating and creating reports to other teams within the greater organization. Communication with carriers occurs through an auditing platform, so little to no phone support is required. We are looking for candidates with strong Excel skills (SUM, AVERAGE, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Success in this role is largely based on Excel proficiency.

Typical Day in the Role Daily responsibilities include communicating with internal and external stakeholders on customs‑related issues via email and responses; no calling is needed. You will leverage multiple tabs and cross‑reference information. Initially, the role will be case heavy (about 50 cases daily to follow up) and may evolve to include project and process improvement work.
