Customer Service Specialist

Summary The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) processes orders, changes orders appropriately and escalates concerns as needed. This position provides product and service information and resolves queries. The CSS will ensure data entry accuracy and that all orders are shipped to meet customer requirements.
What You’ll Do
Field customer inquiries
Track and trace shipment statuses, communicating with the customer through both written and verbal communication
Operate in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Answer phone calls and respond to the shipping office window
Create shipment orders and perform other data entry utilizing our Transportation Management Software
Manage data entry such as manifest, updating segregation orders and receiving information
Process customer billing and ensure accuracy of paperwork while tracking documentation
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work rules
What You Will Bring
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years of customer service experience preferred
Effective communication with customers, vendors, and employees
Ability to problem‑solve, multitask, and prioritize work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Compensation & Benefits Information
Hourly/Non‑exempt
