What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers while ensuring safety

Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and preparing rental invoices

Drive a forklift and fill propane (certification provided upon employment)

What is Required (Qualifications)

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Willingness to participate in safety precautions and use protective gear as needed

Ability to perform physical tasks including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.

Availability for scheduled shifts and participation in ongoing education

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in customer service or related fields

Familiarity with moving and transportation equipment

Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance

Experience with inventory management systems

Certification in forklift operation or propane filling
