What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the U-Haul center Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring equipment is clean and inspected Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University

What is Required (Qualifications) Valid driver’s license with a good driving record High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs Willingness to use protective clothing or gear when necessary Capability to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Previous experience in customer service or a related field Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspection Ability to drive a forklift (certification available through U-Haul) Interest in pursuing certification for filling propane Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards customer assistance
