Job Description AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! customer service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work and enjoy career stability with endless growth opportunities. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required; company-provided vehicles used.
Responsibilities
Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and installation services.
Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts for smooth teamwork and strong relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of parts to commercial customers. Load and unload accurately per schedule.
Handle returns, pickups, and inventory from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Process customer payments securely in accordance with policies.
Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Keep delivery vehicles maintained and report issues.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
Valid driver’s license and adherence to AutoZone driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Hazmat endorsement preferred.
