Production Control Clerk (75% Travel)

The Production Control Clerk must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the function. The Production Control Clerk must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
Write production reports based on compiled data, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, and maintain documents and guides for production workers.
Sort and distribute work tickets or materials and may compute wages from employee timecards and post data on records used for payroll preparation.
Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating the transfer of equipment to the repair shop, and ensuring proper receipt once repairs are completed.
Qualifications
Must have GCSS-A experience.
Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier‑1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
Must have the ability to pass Pre‑Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
Must have the physical capability to lift 60 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
GCSS‑A Certification.
2‑3 years production control experience.
Must have a Real ID.
U.S. Army 92‑series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Skills.
Physical Demands
The ability to lift 60 pounds and perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
