You will contribute to the upkeep of grounds, trails, and facilities, ensuring the park remains pristine for future generations. Job Description As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will carry out indoor and outdoor maintenance and construction activities throughout the park. Assignments include carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, and other building trades to repair structures and facilities, replace or install equipment and amenities. You will safely operate park vehicles and equipment, assist with overall maintenance of equipment, and tend to grounds maintenance such as mowing, weeding, planting, trash removal, debris management, and proper signage. Courteous communication skills will enable you to assist park visitors with general information.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

This is a seasonal, full‑time position with no healthcare benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026, after which the employee will be placed on leave without pay and automatically returned to employment in March 2027.

Work schedule will vary. You will be scheduled 5 days/37.5 hours per week and will include a 30‑minute lunch. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

Qualifications Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements
