Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As an industrial maintenance technician, you will begin each day by attending a shift meeting to discuss the day's plans. You will be responsible for completing a list of preventive maintenance tasks and responding promptly to calls from the production team. Typically, you will complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily.
Responsibilities
Attend daily shift meetings to plan and prioritize tasks.
Complete a list of preventive maintenance tasks efficiently.
Respond quickly to calls from the production team.
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Use a multimeter and wire 480v motors.
Maintain conveyor systems and understand the functionality of PLCs and VFDs.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Experience with electrical, Allen-Bradley, industrial machinery, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Proficiency in using a multimeter and wiring 480v motors.
Understanding of conveyor maintenance, PLCs, and VFDs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
Shifts Monday through Sunday:
Second shift from 2pm to 10pm.
Must work weekends, with two days off during the week.
Pay $27‑29 depending on experience.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
