We are seeking a highly skilled and precise Electro-Mechanical Systems Assembler to join our production team. In this critical, hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly, fabrication, and final testing of complex fluid handling systems, including high‑pressure pumps, motors, and specialized units (e.g., fuel polishing and oil change systems). Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, expert blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in electro‑mechanical assembly, pump assembly, fluid systems maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance, or related mechanical/manufacturing roles.
Technical Drawing: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Fluid Systems Knowledge (Highly Preferred): Prior experience assembling, overhauling, or maintaining pumps, motors, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
Tooling: Proficiency in using standard and precision hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment. Explicit experience with calipers and micrometers is a significant plus.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A Technical Degree or relevant Certification (e.g., HVAC/R, Mechanical Assembly, Electro‑Mechanical) is a strong asset.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical assembly tasks.
Compensation: $35,360 - $43,680 per year (First shift, 8 AM – 4 PM)
Responsibilities
Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation:
Accurately read, decipher, and follow complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and detailed written work instructions to assemble mechanical and electrical components.
Precision Assembly & Fabrication:
Perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly of small and large‑scale pump systems and sub‑assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
Precision Tool Proficiency:
Utilize and maintain various measuring instruments, including
calipers, gauges, and micrometers , to ensure components are aligned, positioned, and fastened to required tolerances.
Quality Control & Testing:
Inspect and perform functional tests on assembled units to verify they meet strict quality standards and product specifications. Identify and report any defective materials or questionable conditions.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve basic assembly and fitting problems; perform minor adjustments, repairs, or re‑work to ensure components fit and function correctly.
Material Handling:
Prepare work by studying parts lists, pulling, positioning, and aligning components and parts, utilizing hoists or other equipment as necessary.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures (e.g., Lock Out/Tag Out procedures).
