About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, planning, and delivering strategic and tactical HR initiatives that align with business needs, enhance employee engagement, and drive overall performance and productivity. This role requires a strategic leader with a broad HR expertise, including talent development, management, organization effectiveness, change management, employee relations, and HR operations. The VP of HR will be responsible for designing and implementing policies and initiatives in various HR areas, training and developing managers and high-level executives, and ensuring that HR strategies are in line with global standards.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus, and at least 12 years of experience as an HR Generalist, particularly in the manufacturing industry. A minimum of 7 years of managerial experience is also required. The role demands a professional with a strong ability to build relationships, influence others, and demonstrate leadership with executive presence. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be adept at clear and concise communication, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. Responsibilities also include leading a team of direct reports, supporting two business units, and being a change management leader to foster an environment that is adaptable to transformation.
