About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology to take on a pivotal role in leading and owning the clinical pharmacology function across all development phases, with a focus on CNS therapeutic programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of clinical studies, particularly in the preparation for Phase 2 Proof-of-Concept and NDA submissions. This role demands a seasoned professional with a PhD and a minimum of 8 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in clinical pharmacology and DMPK, and a proven track record of supporting programs from IND to NDA stages.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology include the development of in vitro and in vivo ADME screening and DMPK study plans, supporting dosing decisions, and interpreting data using PK software. The role also involves collaboration with external partners for modeling work and data interpretation. The ideal candidate will have a self-starter and builder mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced biotech environment, and will be expected to contribute to the growth and scaling of the organization.
