About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Research, Evaluation, and Insights to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive research and evaluation agenda. The successful candidate will be a senior thought partner, ensuring that the organization makes evidence-based decisions in all areas, including product, policy, and advocacy. This role involves representing the company as a trusted voice on research and data related to high school transformation, as well as developing frameworks to evaluate the performance and impact of partner schools and systems. The Head of Research will also be responsible for identifying creative strategies to expand data sources, designing and implementing pilots to test innovative tools, and sharing research insights to guide decision-making and engage with various stakeholders.
Applicants for the Head of Research, Evaluation, and Insights position at the company should have 8-10 years' of experience in research design, data analysis, and program evaluation, preferably in education or a related field. Advanced knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies is essential, as is proficiency with statistical analysis software and an interest in leveraging artificial intelligence for research. The role requires a demonstrated ability to translate research findings into actionable insights, experience in managing external research partners, and exceptional communication and collaboration skills. The Head of Research will also be expected to lead targeted research projects on critical issues in high school transformation and to use research and evaluation to identify opportunities and challenges in scaling educational reform nationwide.
