About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Business. The successful candidate will be a visionary and entrepreneurial executive with a strong background in higher education leadership or a related professional field. This role is pivotal in providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of enriched, personalized learning experiences for students. The Dean will be responsible for modeling the company's non-negotiable behaviors, adopting innovative strategies, and ensuring academic integrity. They will also be tasked with establishing and launching the school's mission, building its name and relevance, and actively participating in the university's leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in a relevant discipline, a minimum of 5 years' of experience, and a proven record of effective, collaborative leadership.
Key responsibilities for the Dean include curriculum and program development, student success, and educational effectiveness. The role involves developing and implementing new degree programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of research and innovation. The Dean will also be responsible for personnel and resource allocation, including budget management and the hiring and development of faculty and staff. The candidate should have a deep commitment to online education, experience in adult education, and a strong belief in excellence as the benchmark for success. They must be adept at balancing the needs of the school with those of the university and be dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic community.
