About the Role

The Vice President, Marcoeconomic Scenario Design will be responsible for leading the development, validation, and expansion of advanced macroeconomic forecasting models and scenario frameworks that support regulatory stress testing, capital planning, and credit loss provisioning processes across the organization. You will design and implement macroeconomic drivers, scenario mapping tools, and forecasting engines, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will integrate these models into broader stress-testing workflows, automate data ingestion and model execution where possible, and maintain strong model governance and documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including risk, finance, analytics, and senior leadership, is key, as you communicate technical results and insights to influence strategic decision-making and support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts.

You should hold an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, with substantial experience in macroeconomic modeling, scenario design, forecasting, or stress-testing within a banking, financial services, or regulatory environment. Strong quantitative and technical skills are essential, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with experience designing forecast and scenario engines and working with modern data platforms. Excellent analytical abilities, strong project and stakeholder-management skills, and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders are critical for success in this role.
