About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety to be the global safety leader for its innovative oncology pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the pharmacovigilance strategy in line with regulatory requirements and company goals. This role involves building and leading a team of drug safety professionals, overseeing safety data collection and reporting from clinical trials, and ensuring regulatory compliance worldwide. The VP will also be involved in safety analysis for regulatory submissions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing expert guidance on risk management throughout the product lifecycle.
Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent advanced degree in life sciences or pharmacology, with additional training in oncology or drug safety highly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with global responsibilities, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, a proven track record in safety data management, and the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
