About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration (CFO/VP) to serve as a strategic leader with a strong background in financial management and business acumen. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, driving fiscal strategy, and supporting the administrative functions essential to the institution's success. This executive role demands a collaborative individual with a proven track record in financial leadership, capable of ensuring that the company's financial systems, practices, and procedures are both robust and adaptable to the evolving landscape of higher education.

The CFO/VP will lead a team of professionals, including the Controller, Director of Human Resources, and Facilities Manager, and will be the staff liaison to the Finance and Audit committee of the Board of Trustees. Strong candidates for this position should have a minimum of ten years' progressive finance experience, with a preference for those who have worked in higher education administration, particularly in a private college environment. The role requires a deep understanding of complex financial business models, advanced experience in contract negotiation, and a CPA and master's degree are preferred. The CFO/VP will also be expected to have strong project management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders.
