About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology Infrastructure to oversee the strategic technology plan and IT operations for its health system. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technology areas, including network/telco, data center operations, cloud services management, technology delivery, enterprise solutions, and disaster recovery. This role involves close collaboration with multi-state and Florida division CIOs to ensure the delivery of required IT services to end users. The Vice President will also be a key member of the executive committee, participating in budget planning, and identifying strategic IT technology implications to support the company's vision and initiatives.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Technology Infrastructure include establishing technology standards and policies, setting service levels for technology operations, and maintaining an IT lifecycle management program. The role also requires the development of effective networks with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the negotiation and management of contracts with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry trends and new technologies, particularly in the healthcare sector, and will be adept at implementing strategies to enhance the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of IT services. Financial stewardship and the ability to lead a team in the execution of the IT services plan are essential for this position.
