About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Technology Audit with a focus on Operational Resilience. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the alignment of technology governance practices with a range of regulatory requirements, including those set by various financial regulatory bodies. This role involves a thorough review of IT risk management frameworks, policies, standards, and issue management processes, as well as testing and validating key controls related to IT governance, risk, and compliance. The VP will also be expected to partner with stakeholders across technology, risk management, and internal audit to drive continuous improvement in IT governance.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Technology Audit include conducting operational resilience audits on a global scale, with a specific emphasis on incident and crisis management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and datacenter rotation. The role requires a deep understanding of global regulations that impact the coverage of resiliency controls within a financial organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying inconsistencies with the control environment, regulatory requirements, and best practices, and will be proactive in developing solutions to address these issues. Additionally, the VP will be involved in the development of resiliency design, implementation, user guides, and training materials, and will challenge the governance model around resiliency capabilities. Advanced analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences, and a proactive approach to emerging risks and standards are essential for this position.
