About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including FP&A, cash/treasury management, GAAP close, and investor/lender relations. This role also involves the development and maintenance of scalable financial systems, as well as partnering with the CEO to drive growth, margin, and compliance. Key responsibilities for the CFO include standing up budgets, forecasts, and KPI dashboards, managing cash flow and credit facilities, overseeing audits, and tax reconciliations. The CFO will also be tasked with negotiating vendor terms, improving inventory visibility, and building a high-performing finance team.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background in start-up, high-growth, or highly regulated distribution environments, with experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller. A strong track record in fundraising or lender-facing activities is essential, as is experience in ERP/BI implementation. The role requires a candidate with a CPA or MBA, with a preference for those holding both qualifications.
