About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to spearhead its financial strategy and performance. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and private equity investors, with a focus on driving growth, operational efficiency, and value creation. This hands-on leadership role requires oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance, and the ability to build and enhance financial systems that support data-driven decision-making. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, as well as developing long-term financial models to support growth initiatives and market expansion.
Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience is required, including at least 3-5 years in a private-equity-backed or multi-unit consumer business. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing financial operations for a company with multi-state retail, restaurant, or service locations, and deep knowledge of GAAP, FP&A, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP implementations, financial systems optimization, and a strong background in partnering with PE sponsors, lenders, and auditors.
