About the Role
The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its independent Critical Access Hospital. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison between the internal staff and the external community, providing administrative leadership and strategic direction to ensure the organization's mission, vision, and values are upheld. This role is pivotal in maintaining the hospital's long-standing commitment to clinical quality and safety while also focusing on long-term sustainability, external partnerships, and facility modernization. The ideal CEO will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, a minimum of ten years' experience in hospital management, and a strong background in financial stewardship, partnership diplomacy, philanthropy, and strategy.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include overseeing all aspects of the hospital's operations, with a particular emphasis on financial management, and the ability to balance short-term and long-term priorities. The role also requires a proven track record in building collaborative alliances, especially with academic and clinical partners, and experience in strategic planning and community relations. While clinical licensure is desired, a deep understanding of patient safety, quality, and the unique challenges of rural clinical delivery is essential. The CEO will be expected to have a strong focus on provider relations, ensuring positive and productive relationships with medical staff and community-based providers.
