The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide dynamic and experienced leadership for one of its community hospitals. The CEO will be tasked with setting and communicating a clear vision, working with various boards and teams to develop and implement strategies, and ensuring the hospital's operational, strategic, financial, and clinical performance. This role requires a leader who can maintain compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, foster a culture of trust and open communication, and actively engage with the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and quality patient care, managing a financially sound budget, and leading performance improvement initiatives.
Candidates for the CEO position at the company's community hospital must have a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field or a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field with a business-related Master's, or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of 7 years' executive leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required, with a proven track record of effective operational, financial, business development, and strategic skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in a small-town environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality of care. Proficiency in healthcare industry concepts, and legal, regulatory, and financial requirements is essential, as is the ability to mentor a management team, lead a high-performing team, and maintain a positive community image.
