About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Lending and Credit Risk Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing audits, developing audit programs, and performing audit testing in accordance with established procedures and standards. This role involves reviewing and approving the work of auditors, drafting audit issues, and recommending corrective actions, as well as communicating audit results to relevant stakeholders. The AVP will also be involved in following up on management action plans to ensure the effective remediation of audit issues and validating issue closures based on control design and effectiveness.
Applicants for the Associate Vice President position should have a strong background in audit management and execution, with a focus on lending and credit risk. The role requires the ability to work in line with documented audit procedures and IIA Standards, as well as the skill to coordinate and review regulatory issues validation.
