Job Summary We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for producing the daily items for retail as well as wholesale customers. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries, following recipes and specs
Prepare custom orders
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred. Please ensure that your previous experience is evident in your resume or work history.
Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Team player
Available for early morning shifts, start time is negotiable but will be before 4am.
