Locums - Urgent Care Quincy, Illinois(Full-Time Epic EMR IMLC Accepted) Position OverviewSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urgent Care Physician for locum coverage in Quincy, IL. Work alongside a collaborative team in a busy walk-in clinic environment.Start Date: May 1, 2026Estimated Shifts/Month: 16 Schedule & Coverage Details
  • Shift Options: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Coverage Pattern: Typically 4 consecutive shifts
  • Solo Coverage:
    • MD/DO may work alone from 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM
    • NP may work alone from 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • No Call
Clinical Environment
  • Setting: Walk-In Clinic
  • Support Staff: Experienced NPs, RNs, LPNs, MAs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Patient Volume: 60-70 patients per day (shared between 3 providers)
  • Adult/Peds Mix:
    • Adults: 60%
    • Pediatrics: 40%
Typical CasesIncludes but not limited to:Ortho injuries, X-rays, splinting, suturing, foreign body eye removal, cough, sore throat, UTI, STD testing/pelvic exams, flu, rashes, and other urgent care conditions.Required Procedures: Splinting, suturing Requirements
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible: Required
  • License: Active Illinois license or IMLC accepted
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications: ATLS and PALS required
  • CSR: Required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year
