HR Business Partner

A fast-growing, real estate organization is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a multi-state, field-based workforce. This role will act as the primary HR consultant for site leaders and employees, providing hands-on guidance in employee relations, compliance, performance management, and workforce engagement across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to site and regional leaders across multiple locations
  • Travel bi-weekly or monthly to properties to support leaders and employees onsite
  • Resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Coach managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and corrective action plans
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, EEOC, HIPAA, Wage & Hour, FCRA, etc.)
  • Support leave of absence, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Assist with onboarding, terminations, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on policy guidance, training, and workforce planning
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and drive proactive solutions

Required Qualifications

  • 35 years of progressive HR experience
  • Prior experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations
  • Background in real estate, multifamily housing, property management, or a similar industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Comfortable with frequent travel by car and plane
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
