Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity focuses on specialized cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures requiring a skilled Cath Lab Technician. The role is based in Morristown, NJ, and offers a contract position with a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterizations (including PCI for STEMI cases) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular studies, pacemaker insertions, and interventional radiology. Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately during procedures. Provide procedural support to physicians pre-, intra-, and post-procedure. Assess and manage patient access sites, promptly communicating with the physician as needed. Follow on-call protocols efficiently to ensure readiness of the Cath Lab. Prepare patients thoroughly for their respective procedures to optimize outcomes. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician or in a closely related imaging role. Proficient in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and protocols. Ability to interpret and record hemodynamic data with precision. Strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians and clinical teams. Capability to manage patient care through all phases of the procedure. Flexibility to adhere to on-call schedules as required. Location
