Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support cardiovascular procedures as a skilled Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting located in Newton, NJ. This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in imaging and catheterization laboratory duties to assist with a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures. Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate diagnostics. Provide essential procedural assistance to physicians before, during, and after interventions. Assess and manage vascular access sites, promptly communicating any concerns to the physician. Adhere strictly to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab. Ensure thorough patient preparation and support throughout all cardiac and vascular procedures. Desired Experience: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with proficiency in cardiac imaging and hemodynamic data management. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. Strong knowledge of catheterization laboratory procedures including PCI and peripheral vascular techniques. Excellent communication skills to coordinate care with the physician team. Certification and licensure relevant to Cath Lab technology.
