An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a full-time capacity within the Richmond area of Virginia. This position involves working with diverse caseloads across various age groups in public school settings. The contract is scheduled from January through May, providing services during the current school year. Location: Richmond, VA area (Henrico County Public Schools) Employment Type: Contract, full-time (K-12 schools) Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with various communication disorders Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and onsite facilitators to support student needs Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation of progress Participate in team meetings and work closely with educators and families to promote student success Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Virginia SLP license Experience working in school settings preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads across various age groups Strong communication and collaboration skills This is a contract position designed to provide vital speech-language services throughout the school year.
