Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapist position is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 educational setting located near Columbus, GA. This contract role spans from January 1st, 2026, to May 21st, 2026, providing a valuable opportunity to support student development across various grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs within the school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student success Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Qualifications and Experience: Active Georgia OT license required Minimum of one year clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably including pediatric populations Experience or willingness to work in school-based settings preferred COTA candidates with relevant school experience will be considered and prioritized Ability to maintain flexibility regarding caseload and school assignments based on district needs Location and Schedule: Position is onsite near Columbus, GA, with school assignments to be determined by the district Full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week Contract duration: January through May 2026 This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences through specialized therapeutic support.
