A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed onsite to support K-12 students within a school district near Columbus, GA. This contract position runs from January 1st, 2026, through May 21st, 2026, offering a valuable opportunity to provide therapeutic services in an educational setting. While specific school assignments will be determined based on district needs, the role involves working directly with students across multiple locations within the district. Key Responsibilities: Deliver skilled occupational therapy services tailored to students educational and developmental needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes according to district and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary interventions. Qualifications: Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license is required. Minimum of one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably including pediatric populations. Experience working in school or educational settings is highly preferred. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) candidates with prior school experience are welcome and may be prioritized. Ability to manage a caseload adapting to district needs and candidate expertise. Location: West Point, GA, within the K-12 school district near Columbus.
