Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support young learners in an inclusive elementary school setting. This full-time contract role focuses on providing specialized education services to Pre-K and Kindergarten students with diverse learning needs. Location: Rossville, GA Rossville Elementary School Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 22, 2026 Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 6 students in an inclusion setting Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with general education teachers to foster an inclusive classroom environment Utilize specialized instructional strategies to support students with disabilities Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods to optimize student growth Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student development and achievements Qualifications and Experience: Active Georgia Special Education Educator Certification with Adapted Endorsement required Experience working with Pre-K and Kindergarten children in a special education or related setting preferred Strong ability to create supportive, nurturing learning environments within inclusion classrooms Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Benefits of this role include the chance to make a meaningful impact on early learners' educational journeys within a supportive school community.
