An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support young learners in Pre-K and Kindergarten within an inclusive elementary school setting. This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of approximately six students in a classroom designed to meet diverse needs. Location: Rossville, GA (Rossville Elementary School) Job Duration: Immediate start through May 22, 2026 Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Setting: Inclusion classroom for Pre-K and Kindergarten special education students Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to the unique learning needs of Pre-K and Kindergarten students with disabilities Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to provide an inclusive, supportive learning environment Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote educational growth Communicate regularly with families and stakeholders to ensure alignment on student goals and progress Qualifications: Active Georgia Special Education Educator Certification with Adapted Endorsement Experience working in early childhood special education, particularly in inclusion settings Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies Ability to engage young learners with compassion, patience, and creativity Effective communication skills for collaboration with families and school personnel This position offers a chance to contribute to a supportive elementary school community dedicated to fostering growth and inclusion for students with special needs.
