Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Rossville, GA, starting ASAP through May 22, 2026. This role supports a Pre-K and Kindergarten Special Education inclusion classroom with approximately six students in a supportive and engaging learning environment. Location: Rossville, GA Rossville Elementary School Employment Type: Contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to Pre-K and Kindergarten students with diverse learning needs in an inclusion classroom Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's learning goals Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive environment Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and needs Qualifications: Active Georgia Special Education Educator Certification with Adapted Endorsement required Experience working with early childhood special education students preferred Strong ability to create engaging lesson plans and manage a small caseload of special education students Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team Benefits: Opportunity to work in an inclusion classroom promoting early childhood special education Supportive school environment fostering professional growth Contract position with a defined term through May 2026 Candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to meet the ASAS start date.
