Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Behavior Interventionist position is available to support the MTSS process within a middle school setting in the downtown Charleston area, South Carolina. This contract role spans from the start date ASAP through May 29, 2026. The position focuses on working within the Charleston County School District and requires on-site presence. Key Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention strategies to support students social, emotional, and academic development. Collaborate with school staff and administration to develop and monitor individualized behavior plans. Assist in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process by providing targeted support to students exhibiting behavioral challenges. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports to inform educational planning and interventions. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in behavioral support services. Qualifications: Experience working as a Behavior Specialist or Behavior Interventionist, preferably within K-12 educational settings. Relevant licensure or certification as required by state guidelines. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and MTSS processes. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families. Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and manage caseloads efficiently.
