A school-based physical therapist position is available in Clermont, FL, serving K-12 students across multiple locations within the district. This full-time, contract role supports approximately 40 active students and consultations, providing therapeutic services to school-aged children. The position requires an itinerant therapy approach as needed, accommodating a diverse caseload throughout the school year. Responsibilities include: Delivering physical therapy services to K-12 students with various needs Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress Managing a caseload of approximately 40 active students and consultations Traveling between multiple school sites within the district as required Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with school policies and professional standards Required qualifications: Valid professional license as a physical therapist School-based experience is preferred but not mandatory Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt and manage itinerant caseload efficiently Location: Clermont, FL, with assignments in surrounding schools within the district Duration and schedule: Contract role for the current school year, starting ASAP through May 29, 2026 Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid break) This opportunity offers the chance to impact student health and educational outcomes directly within a progressive school environment.
