Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-5 students in a school setting located in Prichard, AL. The position is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year, providing vital speech and language assistance to elementary-aged students. Responsibilities include: Assisting the speech-language pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans. Supporting students across various speech and language goals, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to promote effective communication strategies. Participating in team meetings and professional development as required. Qualifications: Registered with the Board of Speech Examiners. Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) is preferred. Familiarity with school-based speech language pathology protocols. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to student-centered care and educational support. Work Details: Location: One elementary school in Prichard, AL.
