A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for an on-site contract position at an elementary school setting in Fremont, CA, running through the current school year (CSY) until June 3, 2026. This position specifically focuses on Pre-K intake assessments. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) in California. Clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the California Teacher Commission (CTC) preferred, but not required. Candidates must NOT be Clinical Fellows (CFs); fully licensed practitioners only. Preference for candidates fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual individuals. Experience with Pre-K assessment preferred. Must be able to work on-site; remote or vocal-only options are not permitted. Location: On-site position in Fremont, CA, serving an elementary school population. Responsibilities: Conduct Pre-K intake speech and language assessments. Collaborate with school staff to identify needs and appropriately assess young learners. Provide clear, detailed reports following assessments. Maintain compliance with all state licensure and credentialing requirements. Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and team members.
