Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support inclusion students in an elementary school setting. This full-time, contract position offers a meaningful chance to make a difference in the educational journey of students requiring specialized instructional support. Location: Lowell, Massachusetts Schedule: Full Semester Contract Hours: 32.5 hours/week (8:45 AM 3:30 PM) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Tentative through Spring 2026 or until June 30th Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and inclusive instruction to a caseload of 14-15 students with special education needs Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create and implement IEPs Maintain progress documentation and participate in team meetings Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth Attend onsite at the designated elementary school within Lowell Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid Massachusetts teaching

license/certifications

in special education Experience working in school-based special education settings Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required Ability to undergo and pass CORI background checks and fingerprinting (may be waived with letter of suitability from previous employer) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team This position includes a Zoom interview process. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. This role provides an excellent platform to empower young learners through tailored educational programs.
