Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time special education teaching position focused on middle school students in the western Chicago area. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction in mathematics tailored to middle school students with diverse learning needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement strategies that accommodate varied learning styles Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional practices accordingly Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations and policies Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education Experience teaching math at the middle school level preferred Ability to design and adapt instructional materials for diverse learners Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Location: Western Chicago region (Cicero, IL) Contract Terms: Full-time, contract position for the current school year (CSY) This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in an enriching, diverse educational setting.
