Per Diem Retail Pharmacists
to join a well-established float team supporting multiple community pharmacy locations throughout the Fresno area. These pharmacies are professionally managed, well staffed, and supported by experienced pharmacy technicians, allowing pharmacists to focus on patient care and safe, efficient workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for local pharmacists looking for consistent, ongoing shifts with a strong weekly schedule and long-term stability. Position Highlights
Per diem retail pharmacist role with consistent weekly scheduling
MondayFriday schedule with occasional half-day Saturdays
Frequent coverage across multiple nearby locations
High level of technician support at all sites
Well-run pharmacies with standardized processes
Competitive weekly pay
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail setting
Verify prescriptions and manage medium to high-volume workflow
Provide patient counseling and clinical guidance
Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and site staff
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted
California Pharmacist license
Minimum
6 months of recent retail pharmacy experience
Experience managing medium to high prescription volume
Spanish-speaking required
to effectively serve the patient population
Ability and willingness to commute to nearby communities within a reasonable daily drive
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
