Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Rockport, TX, serving a K-12 educational setting. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population. Key responsibilities include managing a K-12 caseload consisting of approximately 98 students, which includes both general education and autism spectrum disorder (AU) students. The role requires conducting assessments, providing consultations, and supporting educational planning. While counseling therapy is not part of the dutiesother contractors handle this componentthe candidate will play a crucial role in psychological evaluations and collaboration with educators and families. This position entails full-time hours, ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. The workload involves a mix of direct psychological services and consultative support, ensuring a balanced and manageable schedule. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 students, including general and special education populations Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 98 students effectively Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results Strong consultation and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff Familiarity with supporting students with autism spectrum disorder is preferred Counseling therapy is not required for this role Location: Rockport, Texas, serving a K-12 school setting.
