Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support a K-12 school district in Aransas Pass, TX. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and involves working with a diverse caseload of general education and Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) students. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a K-12 caseload, balancing assessments, consultations, and student support services. The role requires up to 40 hours per week, with an average caseload of around 98 students. Collaboration with other contractors who provide counseling therapy ensures that direct therapeutic services are not a responsibility in this position. Key responsibilities include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for a mixed caseload of general education and AU students Providing data-driven recommendations and support for educational planning and interventions Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs and support academic and behavioral success Offering consultation services to teachers and staff regarding student development and compliance with special education regulations Participating in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contributing expertise to student plans Desired qualifications and experience: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Proven experience working within K-12 school environments Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and consultation Ability to manage diverse caseloads efficiently and advocate effectively for students educational needs This position operates within a structured contract for the current school year and demands dedication to supporting students' academic and social emotional development.
