Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students within district-wide programs in North Charleston, SC. This contract position will run for the 2025-2026 school year, starting as soon as possible through May 29, 2026. The role involves providing behavior specialist services in educational settings, focusing on the implementation of evidence-based interventions and behavior support plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized behavior intervention strategies. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral change and enhance student learning outcomes. Provide training and coaching to school staff on behavior management techniques and data collection procedures. Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly. Maintain documentation in compliance with ethical standards and district guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with K-12 students, preferably within school settings. Strong skills in behavior analysis, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving. Effective communication skills for working with diverse educational teams and families. Ability to manage caseload and adapt services based on evolving student needs and district priorities. Work Environment: On-site in various schools within the district (specific locations to be confirmed). Full engagement with school teams throughout contract duration. Hours per week to be determined based on caseload and district requirements.
