Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is needed for a part-time, contract position providing school-based counseling services within a K-12 school district in the Dallas, TX area. This itinerant role supports approximately 50 students across six schools, delivering individualized counseling aligned with each student's IEP. The position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a team of counselors in a well-structured educational environment, focusing on student mental health and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct counseling services to students with IEPs, supporting social, emotional, and behavioral needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress in the district's system Collaborate with two other LPCs to effectively manage the shared caseload across multiple school sites Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations related to counseling services Participate in meetings and coordinate services with teachers, parents, and school staff Qualifications: Master's degree in Counseling Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential TEA School Counselor certificate Experience working with K-12 students in a school or similar setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills essential for managing an itinerant caseload Location: Mansfield, Texas (Dallas metropolitan area) Job Type: Part-time, contract (approximately 20 hours per week) Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026 Schedule: On-site, serving six schools in the district This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes through comprehensive mental health support while working within a collaborative school community.
