A contract special education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Arvada, CO, beginning January 5 through April 24, 2026. This full-time role involves providing dedicated Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services to preschool students in both morning and afternoon classrooms, serving approximately 18 students per class. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with exceptionalities Manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including case management and progress tracking for a caseload of 9 to 11 students receiving ECSE services Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure compliance with Colorado state guidelines and the use of Colorado IEP forms Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment within the classroom Qualifications: Must hold a current Colorado ECSE teaching license Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with students and families Minimum of two years of classroom experience in special education settings Familiarity with Colorado IEP documentation and processes This position requires onsite presence at the elementary school located in Arvada and is ideal for educators committed to making a positive impact in early childhood special education.
