Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech and language support to students in a dynamic K-12 school setting located near Naples, FL. This contract position offers an opportunity to work full-time or part-time across multiple schools, primarily within the East Zone, including locations close to Naples. The role requires delivering tailored therapy services to diverse student caseloads, with flexibility depending on the assigned school site. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Provide direct therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and detailed documentation in accordance with district guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social success. Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable. Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure in speech-language pathology. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Certificate of Clinical Fellowship (CF). Experience working with school-aged populations preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt therapy strategies to varied caseloads and student needs. Location: Multiple school sites primarily in the East Zone near Lehigh Acres and locations close to Naples, FL. This contract role begins early January and continues through early June, averaging 37.5 hours per week, with potential for part-time arrangements.
