Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work with middle school students in grades 5th through 8th. The position is a contract role starting immediately and continuing through June 5, 2026. Located in Arlington Heights, IL, this role offers a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week over five days. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with special education needs. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student goals. Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and team members regularly. Utilize intervention strategies and behavioral supports to enhance student success. Qualifications: Valid Intervention Specialist Certification or equivalent credentials in special education. Experience working with middle school-aged students. Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional methodologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
